Operating or Direct Contribution Margin
This tool integrates course enrollment, faculty (workload and compensation), major enrollment and retention, tuition and fee income, and department expenses to produce the operating margin (Net Income/Total Income) and ROI (Net Income/Total Expense). A program level dashboard provides a one page summary of fiscal health, enrollment and retention, department level faculty workload, classroom efficiency, and data for a hiring rubric. The hiring rubric can help chairs, deans and provost prioritize assigning faculty positions across the institution.
Integrated Faculty Workload Tool
This tool integrates expected workload distribution (% Teaching, % Research/Scholarship/Creative Activity, and % Service) with actual direct and indirect teaching hours. The tool compares expected work week hours (over the length of the contract) with actual work hours in total and for Teaching, Research, and Service. It will adjust for other duty assignments, experiential learning, and grants
Fiscal Forecasting Tool (Coming SOON)
This tool (coming soon) is built on 5-years of enrollment (incoming and retention), tuition, and expenses. It allows the user to input changes in enrollment, tuition and compensation and then gauge the impact on the bottom line our programs.
Tool for Recruitment Event Support Scheduling (Coming Soon)
This tool (coming soon) allows faculty and students to sign up for your recruitment events for the upcoming year. It provides contact information to the event organizer and for all faculty, staff and student who will be working the event.
